You just need one phone number. If you call +46 8 320 100, you can get general information in Swedish and talk to a nurse as well. You can choose between:
1. getting general information about health care in Stockholm County Council
2. talking to a nurse for health care advice about children
3. talking to a nurse for health care advice concerning yourself or another adult.
Your call to the Stockholm Health Care Guide Hotline will only cost you the same as a local call.
General Information
Experienced communicators provide the same information in Swedish that you can find here at vardguiden.se. For example, you can ask them about addresses, phone numbers and basic health information based on the articles published on the Stockholm Health Care Guide website. If you want, the communication specialists can put you through to a nurse.
Child Care Advice
Experienced pediatric nurses are there to answer your questions in Swedish and provide medical advice. They can also advise you on whether you are able to care of your child yourself or you need to contact a clinic.
Adult Care Advice
Experienced nurses answer questions in Swedish and give medical advice. They can advise you on whether you can manage with self-care or need to contact a clinic.
If there is a medical emergency – always call 112 to SOS-Alarm!
