Care Guarantee (Om vårdgarantin på engelska)
The care guarantee has been created to ensure that you are in contact with the care services and receive the care you need within a reasonable time. The care guarantee applies to all planned care that has been decided on by a doctor. You receive acute care immediately.
The care guarantee means that you can change care provider if your current care provider cannot offer you an appointment and treatment within a certain time. Read more about the time limits that apply for care guarantees below. Examinations, such as X-rays, are not included in the care guarantee.
With effect from 1 July 2010, the health guarantee is laid down in the Health and Care Act.
